Michael is husband to Wendee, father to four sons Blake, Pierce, Troy and Luke, and a resident of the Monument, Colorado community. He has nearly three decades of experience in the charitable gift planning field. His mission is to assist people in using the assets over which they steward to impact charities through creative charitable gift and estate planning. In guiding people through the process of discovering and implementing a plan of stewardship, he has great satisfaction in seeing people become confident, enthusiastic givers.
Michael is a Gift Planning Advisor for the Wycliffe Foundation and President of the Occhipinti Group. His past positions include Vice President of Gift and Estate Planning for Saddleback Memorial Foundation and Director of Planned Giving for The Salvation Army Southern California. Michael earned a Bachelor's Degree in Business-Economics from the University of California, Los Angeles and a Masters Degree in Taxation from the University of Southern California. He is a past President of the Orange County Planned Giving Roundtable and past president of the South Orange County Estate Planning Council in California. Currently, he is a member of the Colorado Planned Giving Roundtable, Colorado Springs Estate Planning Council, and Kingdom Advisors.
